Obama is making himself look like a fool.
That red line keeps getting invisible.
You're contradicting yourself. Regardless of any red line, what should Obama do differently? You said we should keep out of it. Except for some diplomatic responses, the same as Europe has done so far, we are effectively keeping out of it.
How should the US have handled this? What is your solution?

I don't think people here can say what they would have done and what they would do going forward without the info available to Obama. But it is pretty easy to see some mistakes Obama has made, as an example, he did not have to flaunt the gay parade at the Sochi Olympics, he didn't have to tell Ukraine that he has their back when it really meant he will make a couple of lame warnings. He didn't have to make a big announcement recently on deep military cuts. He is not going to take military action. The United States is war weary and will not tolerate that. Putin knows that.
If he wants to lead the west, he should lead the west, if he wants to provide support for someone else to lead, perhaps the EU, he better let them know, and maybe he is doing that. But, at the moment anyway, it looks like Putin is riding roughshod all over Obama leaving Ukraine to defend themselves. Since they have no way to do that, they will likely quickly capitulate.

No we are not. We have threaten Russia....or should I said Obama has threatened Russia.

So, if I am reading these posts correctly, when you cons make fun of Obama in the form of 'while the Ukraine burns, Obama's on the golf course' or some other such hyperbole, what you are really saying is Obama is doing the correct thing.
All I have ever voiced is that, this is not our problem and we should stay out of it.
