Wow! - did you read the expanded tweets? Nobody thought this was a bit funny. This was not a popular comment by "senior White House Official". All agreed they had some problems with W, but at least he didn't act like a snotty teenager.
Let's hope this was CNN's idea of a "joke" and it really didn't happen. If this is the attitude of the White House, we are in more trouble that anyone guessed.

Bush was.......what he was......but he wasn't a jerk. He respected........and still respects the office even if clowns come along. So goes that.
Oh gee, he had a couple of two-bit terrorists whacked.
Reagan took on a nuclear superpower and broke their economic back.
Is this for real, or satire...?
The Soviet Union's downfall was its own doing because of its messy and mismanaged economy and repressions on personal liberty, and IIRC we were led into two wars over Bin Laden's perpetrating the largest terrorist attack against ever on American soil.
So OK........they're childish and petulant, when the problems of the world just keep getting more complicated and dire.
We can all talk about a war on women and a war on gays and a war on the poor - and we can all listen to grand speeches about keeping our health care plans and our doctors if we like them (period) - and we can all listen to Reid call us liars - and we can remember all the promises of hope and change and transparency and the giddy feelings this country had because we had "evolved enough as a people to vote in a black president".
But there's Syria and Afghanistan and the Ukraine and a whole bunch of crap hole desert and jungle countries that are challenging. When things get ugly overseas it should remind us that what we needed back then (and what we need now) was and is a strong, experienced, adult leader who would work to keep this nation safe and be a steadfast allie to this country's friends.
We didn't need to pat ourselves on the back for electing an African American. We needed a leader, and Obama is not that person. Not by half.
