This is what happens when government is allowed to soak the people of their money. Eventually the people will rise against the tyranny. After Ukrainian independence, election fraud was widespread. Although judicial independence exists in principle, in practice there is little separation of juridical and political powers. Independent lawyers and human rights activists have complained Ukrainian judges regularly come under pressure to hand down a certain verdict. Ukrainian state enterprises were rigged in favor of political friends. On a regional level, corruption has been discovered in connection with land allocation.
Individual Corruption:
The highest corruption levels were found in vehicle inspection (57.5%), the police (54.2%), health care (54%), the courts (49%) and higher education (43.6%)

Centralized government corruption
Why are the people so angry? Their rallying cry, one that can be heard every day: “Bandu het!” or “Bandits, get out!” And there is no difference of opinion about who those "bandits" are: President Viktor Yanukovych and his closest political and business allies.
Mr. Yanukovych and his allies used the levers of power to funnel choice political positions and government contracts to themselves, allowing them to amass personal fortunes. Yanukovych’s son, Oleksandr, whose fortunes have been estimated to be worth as much as $510 million
Many people seen the luxury mansion where Yanukovych resides. When you have golden toilets and chandeliers for $80,000, and all this luxury, the question is very obvious, where is it coming from? And the answer is, of course, corruption and abuse of office.

Doesn't look that much different than the US of F'kn A, man.
The best part is that the people of Ukraine turned the Mansion into a "Museum of Corruption" in order to signify that not all people are morally broken and vile like most political and financial leaders. Hundreds of Ukrainians have toured the mansion and nothing has been stolen or broken by the public.
Maybe anarchy should be given a second thought.
