"Fair and balanced" was never MSNBC's slogan.

I'd say it's worse than FOX News at this point. Alec Baldwin was right when he said that MSNBC is "the same **** all day long". Much of the programming is filled with liberal commentators ranting about so-called injustices against "oppressed" groups such as gays, blacks, women, Latinos, etc. And the hosts regularly make snide remarks about "old white guys".

Compared to MSNBC, Fox News really is the more fair and balanced news network.
No, they are both biased networks shilling for their respective corporate overlords/political leanings.

I don't watch either network because they are too biased.

Aside from Maddow, MSNBC is a waste of time these days. I miss Olbermann, and Scarborough before he went all Oprah.

For them to even indicate that would be a lie of massive proportions; kind of like the "you can keep your plan if you like it" lie.

MSNBC is 85% opinion and only 15% actual news coverage. Fox is 55%/45%. It's hard to argue that a network that is built almost entirely on single-sided opinions is anything other than partisan cheerleading.

Both are garbage generally, but both are important to watch because, unfortunately, that's where people on both sides get views especially in the case of fox.

If you don't read Le Monde, watch Al-Jazerra or BBC, you're probably not getting good news. Considering liberals are way more likely to use these foreign sources, I'm not surprised MSNBC's rating are lower than Fox's.

What about NPR. It leaves every other news organization in the dust . Seriously though, if people have those stupid talk radio people on or MSNBC or FOX on all day, I could not regard them as an intelligent being. It's like having the top 40 on over and over, you haven't heard anything new in days and what you heard isn't worthwhile hearing.
