That is exactly right! These control freaks openly admit that the intent behind their laws is to influence the way people think and the way people act. Los Angeles admitted that was the intent behind their banning e-cigs in public, and NYC admitted it as well. It's called social engineering.

While I completely agree with your theory, how could anyone possibly mistake this (basically what I use) for a real cigarette?

I guess they could be confusing the vapor for smoke, but still... if they simply used their eyes, it would take about 2 seconds to confirm it's an e-cig. And if anyone is TRULY having allergic reactions to vapor, I'd suggest they see a doctor about that. I have terrible allergies myself, mostly to perfumes and flowers/plants, but you don't see me supporting public perfume bans.

So it is everyone else's problem for one's action? That is basically the argument that anyone who says "if you have problems with smoke/vapor" that's on you for being in the same space as you. How about I eat onions and seafood and breath into your face like you exhale smoke and vapor in my air space and see how you like it?

That is the problem with this logic, we all have a right to clean air and health correct? Why should anyone have to leave because of you being able to smoke or vape and then if I can't handle it why do you think I have to leave and why not you?

I'm just wondering because this is a big hole in the logic that you pro-smokers and pro-vapers have. I shouldn't have to give up my right to live and go anywhere just because you feel you should smoke anywhere.

The thing you don't seem to want to believe is the fact that vapour creates no second hand problem, but I guess you have your mind made up regardless of the facts don't you?

He obviously feels threatened by the vapor.

Threatened people need to be taken seriously.

Let's all chip in and provide him with a therapy dog for escort in public places.

I've experienced a second hand issue from vaping. It has been talked about several times on here even though it is shot down every time because I could have X as an issue.

You have the right to be offended by anything you choose.

Don't let anyone try to deter you from your chosen path.

Sorry I think you are just making it up to support your anti vaping stance....I have seen many holier than thou anti smokers, but never a holier than thou anti vaper... There is nothing in the vapor I emit that could possibly effect you...

If I'm wrong then I suggest you stay indoors on foggy days, as the fog may kill you.

Well, people HAVE died of fright, you know.

He lives in Arizona to avoid the vapor.

Seattle would be hellish to his sensibilities.

Inhaling water vapor is waterboarding, to the sensitives.

More likely, though, he is probably a basement bonger.

That doesn't kill though. I only get headaches from sudden barometric changes say going from 70's/80's to 50's within a day. I am NOT making this story up. I went to the season opener of the Phoenix Coyotes when they played the New York Rangers. About 5 minutes into the first period, the group in the row in front of me showed up and within five minutes of play they started smoking an e-cigarette and I caught the vapor and thought it was ok but in reality it was banned. My the five minute point I was sick with a headache. I didn't do anything different from the norm. Mind you, hockey games don't affect me (if anything it is football when you have the defense on) and if anything it is a locked knee and NOT a headache from noise. I've gone to just about a hockey game a season since my first game in 1994 and this is the first I've gotten a headache during and there were e-cig vapers in front of me, you do the math and tell me what occam's razor would point to.
