Those not interested in and even denying climate change are more interested in money than the other side in my view.
At the end of the day we might need to make huge sacrifices, which of course many people don't like.

It's not really up to the individual to decide what tax money is used for. Otherwise it would not be spent on anything. It is experts deciding on that, and if you want to have a say, you need to become an expert first.

Of course there will be an ice age again, that will be a huge catastrophe for mankind now that there are so many of us and we can no longer move where we want.
We should try to mess as little with the climate as we possibly can, especially since we don't know about all the mechanisms, yet. If nature forces an ice age on us, bad enough, but at least we don't have to blame ourselves, unless we have messed with the climate in addition to the natural cycles.

Ideally we would find out how exactly everything works and stop the extreme natural cycles, like with a thermostat keeping the room at more or less the same temperature all the time.

That sounds like control freakism to me.

Just go build you a giant city under a bubble and be done with it and all you global warmers can move there. One criteria though................YOU pay for it.

It is
But what is the alternative? Watch hundreds of millions or even billions of people perish? When there are so many people and there is a catastrophe, they will turn into animals again...
