Why do you think it is it down to 57 percent from 81 percent since 2012 among Democrats? Is it one main issue or a few of them? What happened between 2012 and now that has much fewer Democrats thinking the country is better off than it was.
Keep in mind Obama's approval rating is 71 percent among Democrats -- much higher than the 57 percent who think the country is better off today.
They were hoping for more free money... They didn't get any.... There are still those who think they will get some in 2014, hence the 57 percent....
