We have black doctors, black surgeons, black attorneys, black business owners, black scientists; we even have a black PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

My thoughts are that if someone is "disadvantaged" it is pretty much their own fault, regardless of what color or ethnic pursuasion they are.

During the era when the railroads were being built across this country the Chinese were no better than slave labor and treated badly. They were relegated to Chinese ghettos in large cities and forced to do menial labor such as washing clothes or working in restaurants. And yet, 100 years and three generations later, the descendents of these Chinese workers today have fully integrated into society and many are as prosperous as the descendents of the people who used them as slave labor.

If the black people in this country are in a bad way, it is of their own doing. sorry, mate.

Ironically, the only thing that is going to change above is economi colonialism of the natural resources. Various countries (including the US) don't really care if people are killing each other, they do care when it start to affect the profits of the companies working there so they will then step in to try and restore some sort of order.
Over the last 400 years, Europeans have taken most of the worlds wealth (land and or resources), without fair compensation to the indigenous people. Thus, before developing nations can take off economically, they need Direct Foreign investment from European peoples, because it takes money to make money. Asia boomed because of direct foreign investment and trade from Europeans (whites). Contrast Direct Foreign investment with Compound interest loans, with preconditions, given to African nations the last 50 years and you will understand why Asia is flourishing while Africa is stagnant.

Use whatever excuse you like but the economic allocations are clearly screwing over the people of the African continent

Lastly, those square nations of Africa...do you think these national boundaries were drawn by African locals? Who separated tootsies from Hutus in Rwanda

Africa is oppressed by Caucasian exploitation last couple centuries, whether by economic deception, slave trade, land occupation, educational deprivation, very sad
Just wondering, how well was Africa doing before colonialism?

They did all the same things you blame colonialism for, slavery, war, destroying of tribes/cultures, etc. It was not some peaceful land where everyone got along and lived in paradise.

Human nature is the same no matter the culture/nation/continent, it is just their has to be a winner and loser. It is who we are as humans.

I am not condoning the acts of the past, just trying to explain how every culture of every time has done the same thing.

Here's what the problem is. The world needs to play fair to Africa

The world is oblivious to who owns Africa's essential resources. They need to not allow a few dictatorial individuals to steal all resources and sell it to multinational companies at the lowest auction price, leaving all of Africa's people to starve to death

This is unacceptable. This is helping support all those dictators like Ghadafi and this is why Africa has Govt corruption and mass poverty

But if the world doesn't care about people in Africa, then you also don't care about the rise of terrorism, the rise of pandemic diseases, the climate of earth, the entire circle of life. Sad....very sad stuff

Who cares about people who chop each other to pieces, live in uninhabitable areas with no food and clean water and can't figure out how to survive but keep having kids. Africa is a hellhole and always was.

I hear what your saying, and it all sounds great, but it will never happen. The world isn't fair just like life isn't fair.

People are no different than animals, the strong survive and flourish until someone stronger comes along and they flourish. The only difference between humans and animals is we understand this relationship. No mater what laws/rules are put into place this basic principle will always be true, it will just manifest itself differently.

This is why any African leader that nationalized or wanted to nationalize natural resources were eventually overthrown in coops. The Key pillar in capitalism is PRIVATE OWNERSHIP. Private ownership is responsible for most of the worlds poverty as the corollary of wealth creation, land being the largest source of REAL wealth, is wealth deprivation due to the fact that the resource is finite. Hence, when a small percentage of the worlds population owns 90% of the worlds wealth, the over allocation leaves little wealth for others....and hence poverty.

Ok it's true that all those dark people did what you say. But it's debatable how much whites envied all those groups.

While this was going on, monstrous white pagans were killing each other ruthlessly (anglosaxons pirating Britons, Murderous Vikings kidnapping other natives on islands in the north)
Are you saying that all pre colonial dark people have a history of living in peace and harmony? No wars and land grabs with each other? No enslavement of each other? No rivalries etc?

Are you sure about that? You can find several examples of countries not benefiting from state owned industries like Mexico's state owned oil industry called PEMEX and countries with private ownership doing better. Now I recognize things aren't so simple. Norway has a state run oil industry and is doing better than Mexico. But Norway is a more democratic transparent country than Mexico. Anyway the problem seems to come when a country wants to nationalize the entire economy. Instead some form of a mixed economy combined with a democratic gov't seems to be the better route(Norway).

As for African countries. Too many state owned industries contributed to tribalism and more coups. Because by the state controlling so much of the economy each tribal group wanted their people in gov't to distribute the wealth to their tribe. African countries need mixed economies(like most developed countries). Some degree of state owned and private ownership needs to be worked out in these countries for them to prosper.

Why do these ridiculous threads keep popping up? We'll never have a colorblind society no matter how far whites go to become antiracial. The black, Hispanic, and fem leaders won't let a colorblind society happen, because the last thing they want is to trade in their hate, and incomes, for peace.
