Damn.. the Obama beggars are out in droves. The only reason they are debating it is because they benefit from it. They have no problem STEALING from others.

I guess when you don't have what it takes to support yourself you have to steal.

Except health care is already paid for by others.

If you expand medicaid (100% funded by the Fed), you shift the burden from state taxpayers when uninsured show up in the emergency room. It ends up costing less...

Do you have a better argument?

You are STEALING from you neighbor with your own health INSURANCE right now.

That's how group insurance works. The ACA just mandates it.

We have socialist principles in all developed societies. Stop STEALING from me to drive on MY roads.

Quite frankly,

No one gives a damn how much discretionary income you have left over. That is your problem, not mine.

The ACA is a conservative health care law. Take a page out of your own book (Heritage Foundation) about why you should be mandated to pay for health insurance.

This is why people who know how to think don't take the right-wing seriously at all. Hypocrisy.

You would be right if everyone is paying the same amount.

Obamacare has the "wealthy" paying for the "poor"

Obamacare is nothing but income redistribution dressed up as healthcare.

Sorta. If you have employer coverage (and many employer coverages aren't subsidizing non working spouses or kids). These premiums can get out of hand very quickly. The employer is ONLY RESPONSIBLE for the 9.5% of the EMPLOYEE, not the entire family portion.

So an individual could end up paying $100 (his portion), employer kicks in $400 a month. But his non working spouse and 2 kids, he may be on the hook easily for $1200. His premiums could easily be $1200-1300 a month. And if you made say $60K a year. Paying $15000 a year in health premiums. Because of the ACA, he WOULD NOT qualify for subsidies because his employer covered his portion and it was less than 9.5% for the employee.

Ok, let say it's the Hertiage Foundation that the ACA is based on. Cool. Keep at it liberals.

Than who's idea was it to demand insurance cover the "essentials"....whatever Obama and HHS determined to be "essentials" each insurance had to have.

Point to me where "romneycare" forced all the same (or similiar) essentials demanded by the ACA. Please point me in the right direction.

I'm merely addressing his baseless claim that it is not his responsibility to contribute to health insurance, which was proven to be not consistent with the conservative view of health care.

I didn't ask for the goal post to be moved again.

So what?

Why should the middle class be paying for corporate welfare? Why are the wealthy paying less taxes than me? Why are corporations paying little to no taxes?

I wouldn't go down the income redistribution route. Taxes by definition are redistribution anyway.

Wealth and income are two different things.

The higher your income the more you pay in taxes.

This thread isn't about income tax though, it is about increasing the cost of the average Americans healthcare to fund a still born program that the majority of Americans do not want.
