Gee, anyone remember Dan Quayle and the Potato fiasco

I guess if it was the vice president who misspelled a word, it is more earth shattering???

What goes around comes around.....

Your right, really no big deal except for if this were anyone other then the King himself, it would be made fun of, be on the evening news, and in the morning newspapers. That is the differenceeeeeeeeee!

And to go on and on about how whichever Preisdent at the time, made such a big error. And to make the person look the fool. Come one now, easy mistake but really now.

Always covering for The Special One.

The Dan Quayle issue was front page news for months on end, but since it's Obama there's nothing to see hear folks, just move along. Of course it's no big deal, but who's surprised that this dolt can't spell ?

Liberals lambasted Dan Quayle over 'potatoe.' All I'm asking for is a little consistency.

really, Mr President you are a dope!
This White House takes itself way too seriously at their weekly concert nights.
It's not a bit 'funny' that CNN feels obligated to try and cover for Obama - that's just SAD and a real commentary on our Country. The News Media works itself into knots trying to protect him.

After all of the self-righteous comments on Bush grammar mistakes by Obama supporters...and now they brush off not only Obama adopting so many of the Bush policies that they hated, but also now Obama's grammar and spelling and etc...

It's no secret that I am no Obama supporter. That said so what? If it weren't for spell check I would be screwed so I am not about to make a mountain out of this. Who knows? Maybe the man was up for 30 straight hours, or had some things that actually mattered going on that were occupying his mind.
I disagree with Obama on most Issues, I think the man is an unapologetic liar, but he is the President. He has bigger problems than spelling. I agree that he should have nailed respect. It is an easy enough word, but I would prefer he focused on things that really matter.
The guy tanks on enough valid things to fault him for. This is exactly why Romney got his azz handed to him. Making big issues out of non-issues and embellishing on the facts.
