And these folks actually have the gall to claim there's no such thing as a monolith??

What's with the race. Why not just say another corrupt mayor. You say democrats are the ones always bringing up the race card. But here you are doing the exact same thing. It's a corrupt mayor but you want to make it about race.

DC is "Chocolate City." Race is first and foremost in DC electoral politics. Don't take my word for it though......plenty of resources for you to read, including Sunday's Washington Post.

D.C.’s complexion is changing. Will the next mayor reflect that? - The Washington Post

Sorry, you made it about race with your post.

If you don't plan to read the links and see for yourself how race plays a major role in DC elections, then you really have nothing serious to contribute. Move along.

Who do you think youre fooling here? You deliberately made this a slam against the Afro-American community, as if such things as tact and descretion were irrelevant.

Are you going to read the links or remain obtuse? It seems that you, too, are part of the monolith. Ironically, you dont even seem to realize it.

There are many corrupt politicians. Yet you are focusing on race. I don't need to read the links, I live here. How many white people have tried to run as mayor in DC. I can't think of any, can you. You are playing the race card.

Ok, then remain obtuse. It matters not one iota to me that you can't see past your own nose. The Washington Post lays it out bare..... in the open for all to see........ on how race and DC politics are intimately connected and have been for decades.

If you like being uninformed, that's your choice.

PS.... there are at least three white candidates for mayor at this very moment. I think its safe to say you know nothing about DC politics.
