You don't agree with my scenario and you are lapping up the media scenario and you think you are correct when in the end nobody knows what the hell is going on. no one in the US govt is going to do anything to sink the sells of a 80Billion dollar company (with a big B) with huge ties to aerospace. Its not going to happen
The US govt wants this plane found, and found asap. . .if only to clear suspicion from Boeing so they can keep selling the 777 air-frame throughout the world
follow the money. There are far cheaper ways to capture people without risking a huge aero space company.

We know that the aircraft was pinging a satellite 8 hours after takeoff.
You are being condescending and insulting when you describe the people who reported that fact as liars and anyone who takes it seriously as "lapping up" whatever they are told.
Acknowledging that fact does not mean that one is latching onto one theory of what happened, it means that we are being objective about what is known.
The aircraft was pinging 8 hours after takeoff, and that indicates that it was flying beyond its last known position, and was not shot down prior to that 8:11 a.m. (local time).
If you still want to think that it was shot down, fine, but if so, it occurred after that last ping.
Until you can come up with some reasonable cause to dismiss the fact that the aircraft communicated with the satellite 8 hours after takeoff, other than your spurious nonsense that "government and media always lie", then you are simply exhaling a bunch of hot air.
Prove that they are lying and maybe someone will take you seriously.
