I was recently out of the country (feb) and kept hearing reports of chatter about the probability of something happening with air travel in a foreign country. When I also noticed that security was ramped up. Not saying that this means anything other than to say what was being reported.
Wasn't that the warning that came out around the Olympics? Something about toothpaste.

Missing Malaysia Airlines plane pilots under police investigion
Quote:
The two pilots at the helm of the missing Malaysia Airlines passenger jet which vanished a week ago with 239 people on board are being investigated amid fears the plane was hijacked.
Zaharie Ahmad Shah, 53, and Fariq Abdul Hamid, 27, are the subject of a police investigation, airline executives have admitted, and could have their homes searched.
Police in Malaysia have said they are looking at the psychological background of the pilots, their family life and connections as one line of inquiry into flight MH370's disappearance.
The news said at least two passengers used stolen passports, so it is more like a terrorist attack now.
Only problem, as I see it, is that terrorists usually want everyone to know who did it and why. No one has claimed responsibility, so far. What would be the point if we never learn who and why?
I'm sure most of you who have been paying attention to the news have heard about this tragedy.
The plane simply "vanished" while cruising at 35,000 feet. It's a Boeing 777, which has been in service for close to 20 years and has only been involved in one fatal accident ever and only three people out of close to 300 onboard died in that accident.
There were multiple passengers on the flight who were flying with stolen passports. The flight was going from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.
