I believe it is and I'm as diehard an American as you'll ever find. Bankers, multi-millionaires and billionaires are planning for the collapse of America. They are quietly setting themselves up in their personal lives in various other countries. And the many articles I've read on the subject have nothing to do with "vacation homes" etc...this is due to the firm belief they see America failing fairly soon.
Whose at fault? Well, we all are. Even if there was a revolution in this country, we have no conviction anymore and would not even know what direction to take it.
Specifically, I believe uncontrolled immigration, no culture, ultra liberalism, more takers then contributors, greed and that fact most Americans have an entitlement mentality is what is breaking us. And then trend is getting far worse.
And for the billionth time, this is nothing new, all you have to do is look at history and what we are doing to our own selves has happened more then a few times.
Not that I put any stock in Putin, I do think the man is quite savy, a hard-ass and intelligent as many mad men before him have been. But he stated just the other day his reasoning on controlling their own immigration problems and terrorists threats. He referenced America as it's best days have gone by and that we basically committed suicide in this country. Several other leaders around the world also have referenced American as "suicidal."

Both parties share the blame for the decline of America. And both conservatives and liberals share blame.
Both liberals and conservatives have supported the surveillance state, the war on drugs, and bailouts for Wall Street. Both liberals and conservatives have been whores for Israel. Both liberals and conservatives are driving America into bankruptcy.
I wouldn't go so far as to say that America is getting worse, but the gap between us and the rest of the world has been closing for decades now. We're already in relative decline, but still managing to tread water and even progress a bit in absolute terms.
