Do you have evidence it changed? CNN, certainly not infallible - has repeatedly cited 58.5% as the number of ethnic Russians in Crimea.

The pro-Russian anti-EU guy won more than 75% of the votes in Crimea in 2010.

I am sorry, but all of the evidence suggests that the majority in Crimea favors Russia over the Ukraine.

All of your evidence is speculation...the election appears corrupt because of 95%...the census data may have changed since 2001...

What garbage - the Tartars in Crimea boycotted the referendum and called it illegal.
Crimean Tatars Appear to Boycott Voting
Many Deeply Suspicious of Russian Intentions

Nate Silver of Fivethiryeight.com has an interesting article up today about polling in Ukraine and the Crimean Province. They poll every year and the result is always about the same - only 40% or so are interested in any reunification with Russia in the Crimean Province. That all 'changed' when the Russian soldiers invaded. Is everyone aware of exactly what questions were on this 'referendum'?

The status quo of remaining part of Ukraine was not one of the questions - they could vote for Russian annexation today or Russian annexation tomorrow. Those were the questions they voted on.

Either way there is nothing we can do.

LOL. They freely voted, its not our concern.

[MOD CUT/off topic]

We REALLY should return some of their weapons and nukes. Seems only fair as Russia didn't adhere to the treaty.

US stands for not letting other countries bully you to go against your own constitution.

The fact that Obama and Kerry are in charge of managing Russia should terrify any American with a brain. Republicans and Independents, in other words.
