I do not have anyone on ignore because I think it is chicken s*** but the kid is close to changing my mind.

Bent bow I know what you are saying about principle and if you have read my post you know I have plenty. I wish I could make a stand but being older I really need HC insurance and it was no fault of my own that my employer gave us the boot. I feel awful that I am getting a 446 dollar a month subsidy and with out it I could not afford insurance. I would love to make a stand on principle but as Kenny Rogers sang " you have to know when to fold em".

Heres an interesting article on the Tea Party. The Tea Party is hardly the Libertarian party many seem to think it is. Its the "Get Off My Lawn" party.

Before details were clear about the Arizona shooting, Left-wingers tried to assess blame for the tragedy to Sarah Palin, the Tea Party, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and the Second Amendment. When it became clear that the gunman was a a man whose political philosophy was more in tune with the left.

The tea party, a grassroots group are protesting perceived injustice, questionable government policies, and possible political corruption - just like their liberals used to.
