How much of the US defense budget is allocated to fight right wing extremists vs. jihadists? For every dollar spent preparing for right wing extremists we probably spend $100,000 for jihadists. Maybe the reason they haven't killed so many is that we fight them and prepare for it.

Using a "post 911" stat is just picking a data point. Include that single day and the numbers change a lot.

The argument about where these people fall on the political spectrum is pointless. Imagine that the political spectrum isn't a line going off in two different directions, but that it's a circle with a front side. Moderates are in the front. As you move away from moderation, to the left or to the right, the further from moderates the more extremist the positions. And the extremists meet in the back.

The extremists might have once moved left or right away from moderation. But when they became extremists, their orientation on the political spectrum became extremism. The opposite from moderation.

So the time frame being defined is from 9/12/01 forward, right? What if we go back just one extra day and include 9/12/01....oops, that changes the body count, huh?

I remember when the FBI came out with a report about the surge in right wing violence after a half black man was elected president. Republicans poo-pooed it but everything in the report has proven to be true.

Yep, Bush did in fact kill more Americans than Bin Laden. And his rabid right-wing supporters denounced anybody who objected to it as 'unpatriotic'.

Everyone here got it ALL wrong. It's DEMOCRATS that kill the most people EVERY single year. Look up the murder stats for gangs in the US.

So, progressives now love statistics?

What happens when you tell them that 13% of population commits over 52% of the violent crime in this country?
