This guy didnt even have insurance before. Thanks to the ACA he was able to get insurance without filling out a 40 page application. Do you have any idea how much insurance would cost for a 62 year old guy with a heart problem? He went on the exchange and got a heavily subsidized rate. Kind of like Medicare for a 62 year old. If the same thing had happened prior to the ACA he would have had to file bankruptcy. What would the Republican plan be for this guy who is uninsurable?
You seem to have missed the part about $407,000 AFTER signing up through an exchange, DUE TO Ocare.
If one looks at this map of exchanges, it looks like both MD and OR, run their own. This may result in these states defaulting to the fed site or some partnership. Will be interesting to see who pops up next. The number of state ran sites seems comparatively small, but may get much smaller.
As a business owner I am saving thousands each month by supplementing my employees directly and having them enroll in the exchange. They are getting better insurance for less money and I am saving thousands.
This is typical of many of the stories I have read.
Our government doesn't know who's paid and who hasn't. They have no idea. Nobody is in control. They exchanges still don't work, and the insurance companies cannot do anything either, because the back end part of the Exchanges hasn't been built yet.
We're screwed folks. Don't give these Democrats any more power in November. Remove them from office. They did this to you. Never forget.

XEROX leaves man owing $407,000.
Not Obamacare.
Not the insurance companies.
Not the state of Nevada.
XEROX set up Nevada's website. For some reason, they have premiums going to Xerox which is then supposed to forward the payment to an insurance company.

XEROX messed up.
And Obama was the architect for this disaster. Obama is to blame.

The back end works. I, and many others, have signed up, paid, and are covered under the ACA.
Obamacare is a huge SUCCESS. Remember, the purpose of Obamacare was to hire an incremental 80,000 IRS agents who will enforce the regulations surrounding Obamacare. Those 80,000 new IRS agents must join the National Treasury Employees Union, NTEU: The Union for Federal Employees, one of the most extreme left-wing unions in the nation. Those 80,000 new IRS agents pay union dues, and the NTEU funnels those dues to Democratic candidates for election in exchange for pledges to raise the wages, gold-plated pensions & Cadillac health care for NTEU members.
And Obama was the architect for this disaster. Obama is to blame.
Because XEROX shouldn't take responsibility for their mistakes?
