The only thing missing from your butthurt post is the token mention/blame of Bush.

Hell, I'll blame Bush right back at you.

The only reason Putin felt he could get away with taking the Crimea was because he knew that America was completely worn out from wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Last thing Americans want is any involvement in some Eastern European country that has nothing but problems. He also know's were broke from those wars that Bush started, prosecuted and left the bills for his successors.

The nuclear weapons deployed in Ukraine belonged to Ukraine as much as our nuclear weapons deployed in Germany belong to Germans.

I agree with you guys, I hate constitutions and it makes me happy seeing people voting against their constitution.

Maybe if we hadn't gotten involved in Syria to protect the new Saudi Natural gas pipeline that was to cut the Russians off we wouldn't be having this talk?

How anyone can support Russia when they have laws smothering human rights is beyond me. To each their own, I suppose.

Have you ever been to Crimea?
Have you ever talked to any Crimeans?

It's not surprising they voted to join Russia, seriously. I wish people would do their research before automatically thinking Crimeans were pressured to vote yes. Go on facebook and message random people who live in Crimea and ask about their opinion. Seriously, it isn't so cut and dry, like there is a general consensus they don't want to rejoin Russia. It's like if Alaska became independent and later on their economy was crap and the US was going to have them vote to rejoin America. Then, Russia comes in and says they will place sanctions against the US. I know it's not exactly the same, but really, there is more to it than the US media shows.

We support a lot of countries that smother human rights. China is a most favored nation for trade -- all that very cheap labor.
