I think people should get the coverage that they are willing to pay for.

Doctors, hospitals and insurance companies do not run charities.

Actually if they would have just addressed the pre existing folks with some sort of pool that would have taken care of that. Most of the "uninsured" were because they chose to be. Instead they pass this mammoth bill that nobody read.

why would you spend thousands of dollars in taxes or insurance premiums for a onec a year doctor bill of a couple of hundred

People have still been denied coverage they'd have been willing to pay for. Insurance companies don't want to touch people with pre-existing conditions no matter what. In a way it makes sense, but people shouldn't be denied insurance.

Lol! Because the only health care people need is going for a yearly checkup, nothing else.
Nobody ever gets sick and nobody gets into accidents.

This is misinformation.

The one time Open Enrollment for 2014 ends at the end of this month. The next open enrollment period begins in November for 2015 coverage.

Certain events qualify for an extension of open enrollment, birth of child, marriage and /or loss of insurance typical with a job loss.

Note that sickness or an accident is not a qualifying event.

If you are a male under 35 you almost never need emergency care, insurance for this age group should be super cheap, instead we (as I am part of this group) are now forced to subsidize other more at risk groups to make the democrats feel good about themselves since they have now "done something".

Obamacare is nothing more than income redistribution to buy more votes for democrats.

Get into a car wreck. That's what car insurance is for.

I'll believe that when it actually happens.
