O-Care premiums to skyrocket | TheHill

....democrats are already twisting in knots over the so-called affordable care act, now this heading into midterms.

It would be funny if it wasn't negatively impacting so many people.

Well sure because not enough healthy people signed up.
They need premiums from people who will not use the system to support those that are ill and old.
Logic and common sense here people.

A chronically ill person will use a hell of a lot more services then their $200 monthly premium will cover.

This is what the Dems say people wanted.
So now they need to shut up and open their wallets "for the good of the collective".
The village will be made to pay.

The writer didnt cite here sources and didnt provide a link to the Business Record talking about Iowa rate increases. So when I looked it up it was an article from last year talking about rates in 2014. Lousy journalism on a blog so I guess it isnt journalism.

Business Record: Insurers expect big premium increases shifting rates in 2014

I wonder if anyone will be able to afford health insurance when all is said and done?

I've got a feeling they will do all they can to pass these increases onto tax payers. The news is bad enough for Obama care. They can't afford more bad news.

Those who say this is a lie.....shove it. You're the same dimwits who scoffed at all the other warnings that came to pass. You liberal sheep have zero credibility on Obama care.

The increased requirements and extra fees has already cost most policies to go up 30-50% over the last 18 months.

Not sure I can afford it to go any higher. Maybe we can all buy a $20k deductible.

They coild increase the insurer bailout to try to cover up the coming premium death spiral.

That sounds like something the Liar in Chief would think is a good idea.
