Making it the law and assuring that is carried out are two different things. Besides, I was referring to the GOP attitude against women, especially in TX.
If the governments job is truly to treat us all equal, the same must apply to men.
As it sits now, with the message, it is only for women to be privileged.
The governments job is to treat us all equally regardless of race or gender. Not make us all equal in every way... Because we are not all equal and never will be.
Texas is indeed worrysome. How long do you think it will take the GOP to realize that 51% of their (or anyone's) electorate is female???

OK.
I'll play along...
What specifically is happening in Texas that prevents the federal equal pay statute that has been on the books since Kennedy signed it into law from being "carried out"?
There is no such thing as "equal pay". Every person brings different talent and experience. Your pay is what you accept for the job being offered.
Something the "not fair" crowd will never understand. Join a union if you think it's "not fair" and they will guarantee you get paid the same as everybody else in said union........lol
