You can thank liberal feminism for stagnant wages. With the "working" women it has greatly watered down the job market and wages. It has also caused a high level of inflation in rents and real estate, with two working people it causes rent to go higher because they can get more. So basically feminism has caused the rat race to run faster and get bigger with a smaller reward at the end end of the race. Pretty sad huh?

The common citizen is apparently blind or ignorant to things like this. Americans are basically just reaping what they have sown and the dysfunction has barely started.

Still doesn't make it right for people to stay home and mooch off the govt. People need to work and be productive but the modern feminist has taken the wrong approach to what her work should be.

Interesting point

Perhaps to make room in the labor markets for the 30 million illegals Obama wants to make citizens, all of the women in the US could quit thier jobs. It would not be a "war on women", but more a way to gain more leisure time.

Is this not what they are telling the unemployed now?

We do have a POPULATION problem, not a jobs problem. With rising automation, there will be less demand for workers, and thus people. Importing more people with fewer jobs is not a great idea, but then again, when have the dems ever had a good idea? NAFTA, "fair housing act", China most favored nation trade status and welfare were some "good" ones.

You're right. You *do* know a lot of nonsense.

The issue with the population problem is what do we do? Genocide is not an acceptable answer because it less to who do you kill and why. The only options are such digging (and refilling) jobs, a negative income tax or expanded welfare because the jobs just don't exist. It's like what I say with retail eventually using RFID and burger joints going to burger flipper robots and self-service kiosks, there could be a day that by doing that, you have to many people out of work that companies can no longer turn profits and have to shut down operations.

Sounds like the solution lies in either (a) ending supply controls or (b) enacting rent controls.
