Why would they indeed? Unless the behavior they were forced to endure was over the top. I don't know. Ask them why they complained. I agree the management probably wouldn't appreciate it. That said they should have the right to do so.

I know that is the White House "spin" .... unfortunately, the White House is not letting USA Journalists report on this Spring Break Vacation (the New York Times and Politico are both saying it's to stop any bad press), but they can't control either the Chinese or European Press from reporting on it. Reality is that if the USA Taxpayer is paying for a Boondoggle trip for Michelle and and entourage of 70, then they can't shut down the Press without some repercussions. I does seem a bit much to shut down the buildings elevators, evict the people from the top floors, stay in an $8,500 room and then "complain" and "bark" about it. In this country - anyone who would mention that gets fired at minimum, but that's not the case in China when the situation is a woman who offended their First Lady. This is the same China that backs up Russia and Putin and every opportunity.

What does having to be a man have to do with anything? If the owner or manager tells them to shut up and do their job, what do you think happens. They either do it or be fired. Do you think the employees would get into a physical altercation with their boss?
