I'd gladly go over there and do my best to help them solve this problem of low birth rate.

Theyre actually amazingly racist. So no they probably don't want your help. Or mine. I suspect a great many would be willing to assist.

Birth rates have plunged the world over, especially in the first-world nations, but also in developing nations who are becoming educated in general and about birth control in particular.

The birth rate for a "replacement level" of population is 2.1 live births per woman of child-bearing age.

Italy's birth rate is about 1.0 which is woeful from a "replacement" viewpoint. All those good Catholics are practicing birth control at unprecedented levels. Most of Europe and Japan aren't far behind Italy, and the USA comes in at about 1.8 and is only that high due to immigrants.

A really good book on this topic is FEWER by conservative author Ben Wattenberg.

Nations like Italy and Japan, and others, have a demographic time bomb of sorts as there are fewer workers to support the old folks. IMO Japan will shift more auto production for the USA market to the USA as Japan doesn't have the workers to fill all their assembly jobs - and we do.

The USA is in this boat too relative to the health of Medicare and Social Security, and is one reason Congress wants to keep the immigration door open - all those new people will help pay into Medicare and SS.

We could send them our baby mamas. They would be happy to mate with everything that comes along.

That's not why they're bringing them in -- it's all about cheap labor and cheap votes. Most illegals need Medicaid and food stamps and much more. If they were really paying into Medicare and SS, the retirement age of Americans wouldn't be raised up to what it is -- Americans now can't retire because they need to keep paying taxes to support the newcomers and their sky high birth rates.

If high birth rate was really a benefit, the Central American nations would be in great shape. They're not.
