Tom Perkins' big idea: The rich should get more votes - Feb. 14, 2014
Tom Perkins Has a Fascinating, Radical, Un-American Voting Plan - David A. Graham - The Atlantic

Republican billionaire Tom Perkins, who is also a chairman at Newscorp ( fox news), has wonderful idea. Screw the constitution.
Quote:
"The Tom Perkins system is: You don't get to vote unless you pay a dollar of taxes," Perkins said.
"But what I really think is, it should be like a corporation. You pay a million dollars in taxes, you get a million votes. How's that?"
Now we know where Fox gets all there fair and balanced ideas from....

Perfect argument to get rid of the IRS if you ask me. Have a National Sales tax only and
everyone has got skin in the game.

He's right though. People who aren't moving the country forward have no business dictating what should be done.

If that's the case then don't expect them to live by your laws.

Not in favor of wealth=more votes.....but I do think people should be able to answer basic questions, like perhaps being able to point to North America on a map before being allowed to vote. Half the people in this country don't understand anything about this country, how it works, how it came to be, what sacrifices were made; absolutely nothing. They simply vote on who they THINK will give them the most freebies.

Example is Obama....Some 93% of those under age 25 during the last election THOUGHT if Obama was elected, it would bring total and free health care for everyone. Hell, most of them still think that today. Totally blind and illiterate to politics yet they vote. They votes based on what their favorite pop star tells them, or movie star, or because they got kuddo points in class from the Nazi-like liberal professor. It's become all about what "feels good" not what is actually good.

The Fox chairman exudes conservative hypocrisy at its best. Even though he speaks the very opposite of democracy, millions still vote for conservatives even though they're voting against their own interests.

They could say, "provide free birth control."
