If I was worth millions I would gladly share with those less fortunate. Why would I need all that money. Here we have CEO's who make millions yet do nothing. And then we have people working their ass off and only make minimum wage.
Names, please, and links to their tax records.
You have zero clue what people do with their money. For starters, CEOs provide jobs to others, and that's definitely NOT nothing.
It's none of anybody's business what anybody does with his/her money. Posts like this make me want to give NOTHING to charity.
Based on what? People have roommates for this exact reason, to reduce living expenses. People can live very frugally. They just can't have iPhones and iPads while doing so.
Great idea, communal living. If we get enough people to do this perhaps we can lower the minimum wage to $4.00.
Thomas Sowell and you do not understand what the word greed means. Greed is a desire to have something you do not have. He/you won't get it until someone tells him/you he/you is/are dealing with a strawman argument. Poor guy.
True -- and it's not greed to work very hard and expect to come out ahead through your hard work.
It is greed to expect free money and not work for it.

They are not YOU. What they do with their money is their business, not yours.

"Here we have CEO's who make millions yet do nothing." And you have personal knowledge of this, HOW?
I don't know anyone who thinks keeping the money he's earned is greedy. Greed does exist, and it exists regardless of one's income. If my neighbor becomes greedy, it won't affect you nor me. When those who are responsible for keeping the financial sector intact become greedy, it's another story.
Not a fan of greed, but sometimes it can drive men to do great things and that is OK as long as they earn their money in a legit/legal way. Watch "the men who built America" on the history channel, talk about greed.
It's not greed if you want to give something to get the money.
