“It is amazing that people who think we cannot afford to pay for doctors, hospitals, and medication somehow think that we can afford to pay for doctors, hospitals, medication and a government bureaucracy to administer it.”
---- Thomas Sowell
Umm what government bureaucracy is administering medicine? ACA does nothing of the sort.
Don't the parents have to pay insurance premiums on their covered adult children? Since young adults are cheap to cover, wouldn't that use the parents' premiums to subsidize the older and sicker?
The adult offspring(up to 26) CAN be kept on their parent's policy, if the parent chooses to do so they would PAY for them.

To most people that can think it makes no sense. Maybe YOU being so ummm .. could explain it to us.
Obama has been pushing for government control of the economy, while leaving ownership in private hands. That way, politicians get to call the shots but, when their bright ideas lead to disaster, they can always blame those who own businesses in the private sector.
Obama to force insurance companies to cover the children of their customers until t they are 26 years old. Obviously, this creates favorable publicity for President Obama. But if it causes insurance premiums to rise, then Obama can blamed on the "greed" of the insurance companies.
I have proposed for many years the possibility of utilitizing our HC system. Public utilities are great compromises between the private and public sectors. They work for many of our necessities like water, electricity and NG, which require large amounts of complex and expensive infrastructure. And require central oversight so that the needs of the masses are most properly and efficiently met.

Public utilities and government -> two very different entities

Really?
( Hint.... Kathleen Sebelius, Secretary of Health and Human Services....joins FOX17 This Morning at 7:30! Tasked with managing "Obamacare,".... do tell what 'administering of medicine' is outside of ACA? Hint - very freaking little!)
"We have truly entered the world of "Alice in Wonderland" when the CEO of a company that pays $16 million a day (tim cook) in taxes is hauled up before a Congressional subcommittee to be denounced on nationwide television for not paying more.
The federal government already has ample powers to punish people who have broken the tax laws. It does not need additional powers to bully people who haven't.
When the Internal Revenue Service started demanding to know who was donating to conservative organizations that had applied for tax-exempt status, what purpose could that have other than to intimidate people who might otherwise donate to organizations that oppose this administration's political agenda?"
