rofl, by what standards ? Do you realize the USA is a banana republic ? Our debt is roughly
equal to our GDP, and our GDP INCLUDES all mortgage debt ! Russia's debt-to-GDP is only
around 9%. Global credibility ? where ? sure, among the so-called "western" media parrots,
but what about the people who can think for themselves ? what about the people whose
knowledge cannot be reduced to 10 second soundbites ? Did you know Russia
has a 13% flat tax ? Who's the communist ?

It's a heavy blow. Putin leg humpers claim nothing bothers him, but he is hurting. His global credibility is falling like a rock, his economy is nose diving, stock market melting, currency crumbling, and his popularity in Russia is falling. It is turning into a disaster for him.
Kind of reminds me of the Obama "leg humpers." Lying and denying his lies, government stats, flip flops, his Bushness, etc...
I do hope Obama and Cameron will contain Putin the dictator though.
This will greatly bother conservatives, who have lined up behind and fully support Putin, and will blame this exclusion of Russia on President Obama. Personally, I think it is the shirtless photos that makes their hearts flutter....

When conservatives criticize the bungling incompetence of Obama, that does not mean that they like Putin!
Of course it was - because the STOCK MARKET SURGED between 2009 and 2013 - which simply proves the point that changes in Russian stocks downward are very likely hurting Putin's backers and that they'll be putting pressure on him to do what's necessary to get their stocks BACK UP. It remains to be seen how he'll react to that pressure, but there's no doubt there'll be pressure.

Look up the definition of 'diplomatic' and 'political.' The week before that Medvedev (whom Obama was addressing) had demanded written proof that Russia was not the intended target of U.S. missile defense efforts. What would you have expected Obama to say--p*ss off--we're gonna nuke you?

If you point out that Obama shouldn't have offered him greater flexibility after the election (because Putin is a dangerous dictator) - they say that is an endorsement of leg humping Putin, which is ironic, because millions on the left has truthfully had an emotional infatuation with Obama that has blocked all clear rational thought of him.
If you say that Russia is a geopolitical foe - they call you a fool and say that the 1980s want their foreign policy back. When Kerry calls Russia a geopolitical foe, they nod in agreement.
