Tit for Tat-should we be sending more Marines to Guantanamo Bay? (Obama, Denver)

Back in the salad days of the Cold War the US would have already responded to any kind of Russian aggression. So why not send 20,000 more marines to Guantanamo Bay along with a hundred Abram's tanks and a hundred Cobra Strike Helicopters?

We could start throwing out rhetoric like the unstable Cuban Government is putting our Marine Corp base in danger. Hell, we could even send out a referendum over the internet to see if the average Cuban wants Cuba to become the 51st state.

Makes just as much sense as Russia taking the Crimea. If we had any balls, this is exactly what we would do.

Very true, but it is still a US NAVY base, not a USMC Camp. There is a big difference!
