Strange thing is that Indians, Pakistanis, and Bangladeshis are basically the same people ethnically. Why don't they have nearly the same scores/success?

uh, the chart shows caribbean blacks scoring below black africans. don't get what you mean about white ancestors.

I thought ethnicity meant culture, primarily, though it also implies a shared ancestry.
At any rate, although there is some crossover, genetically, in the populations of Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh, there are distinct genetic variations within those countries much less across them.

Not enough to make any real difference.
Besides, no one ever looks to break down whites genetically...and they have just as many if not more variations.
Clearly culture comes to play. You would have to actually know a few Africans. Most don't play when it comes to school but I'm sure that comes from their parents stressing the reasons of being in America in the first place.
