You have no idea how long they've been there. You dodged and weaved and never answered when I asked what difference the Christie bridge thing mattered now and here you will do the same.
Well, maybe you have Harrier confused with someone else, because he doesn't remember discussing Chris Christie with you.
Could you provide a link to the thread and your alleged question?
As for this thread, Harrier doesn't have to know how long the kids have been in there, he only needs to see symptoms of heat stroke and know that they need to be taken out of the vehicle immediately.
That is why he said "if" - which obviously went right over your head.
If the kids were fine, then Harrier would stay with the car - provided that he was alone.
If he was accompanied by a trustworthy human being (i.e. not a liberal politician) then Harrier would go find you at the Coke machine.
Since your question was based on an unsupported premise(that Christie is finished on the national stage), Harrier answered the non-question with a non-answer.
Besides, the original question was not directed at Harrier, or anyone else in particular.

As noted, you dodged the question

One can look and see that my question was posed to you.
The people who called the authorities did the right thing. Its just too bad that the authorities didn't.
Thanks to liberal policies, being an imperfect parent (that would be 99% of us) is now a crime.
Like many others here, I too remember being left in the car with my siblings while mother was off shopping, getting her hair done, et al. We and nobody else thought anything of it. It anybody called the police over it you would've been laughed at for overreacting to nothing.
I miss the days when people minded their own damn business. They knew the difference between discipline and real child abuse. Temporary neglect such as leaving kids in running cars while you ran into the store to get a pack of cigarettes was a non-factor.
That's just it -- it's almost a classism -- if you saw kids who look like they're from affluent families, they shouldn't be left to die unattended in hot cars in Arizona but if they look like poor kids, you shouldn't intervene, just leave them to die.
I wouldnt give a crap what type of car they were driving. Two kids left in a car unattended (especially a 6 month old) is unacceptable regardless, and I'm shocked at how many people are trying to excuse it because she's poor.

They absolutely did the right thing..
In the end, they will help her obtain housing, and babysitting should she return back to work..
