Not religious at all. The whole purpose of education is so you don't become a lunch lady.
what a snide remark: How many lunch ladies do you know? Has it occurred to you some of they are moms, with educations who have chosen to be "stay at home moms" but want a few extra $$s? Well I know a few like that.
The lunch lady said it is not good to pray?.. If the little girl said OMG , and taking the Lords name in vain breaking the ten commandments, the lunch lady would think it was good.
So many people are now promoting taking the Lord's name in vain with the OMG phrase that is so very popular on tv and internet yet praying is bad.
The world believes good is bad and bad is good these days.
Aw, it wasn't the lunch lady. It was some teacher that watches them in the cafeteria. I was wondering how the ladies that serve lunch would see some kid at a table doing anything.
So if your little girl came home telling you there was a dude touched her down there at school, you are gonna take, "Things that probably did not happen" too???!!!!
If you complain to the school, can people just tell you "Oh, you are just creating a controversy?"
Complaining to the school, and more importantly, the school board is exactly what should be done. Not coaching your kid to say something that is at best tenuously true so you can post a You Tube video that plays to the false persecution complexe so pervasive in parts of the evangelical community these days.
I'd look for this to be making the facebook rounds soon.

Taking the Lords name in vain is common today. It was then and that is why it was written in the Ten Commandments. Thou shall not take the Lord's name in vain..
The Lord's name is used without worth or value. Nothing new. Just used as an exclamation with no thought of God in a reverent manner.
The lunch lady shouldn't be interfering with a child who wants to say a prayer before eating.

Agreed (assuming that this event is accurately described here).
