Unions were handed what was it 20% ownership in the bailout and this is what they are putting out now.........garbage.

"(Reuters) - General Motors Co is recalling certain Chevrolet Cruze models for possible axle fractures, and more than 490,000 trucks and SUVs for potential transmission cooler line issues, the company said in a statement late on Friday. These latest recalls come as the head of the country's biggest automaker, Chief Executive Mary Barra, faces Congress next week regarding who is to blame for faulty ignition switches linked to crashes and at least 12 deaths."

You'd think there would have been some oversight with all the $$$ handed over.

LOL. You are now saying these GM axles, transmissions and ignitions are Obama's fault?

How ridiculous. We might as well say Ted Cruz is responsible for Chevrolet Cruzes, as it makes as much sense.

its government motors what did you expect? i have said it many times in the past, since they didnt go through a proper reorganization, they never restructured the company, so all they did was push the issues down the line. they dont make as much money on cars like ford does, their cars are still crap, some of them look like six year old styled them, i just dotn see why people buy the damn things. a few more years of this, and they are going to be in the same boat they were in, in 2009.

i dont blame obama for the crappy cars per say, but i do blame him for essentially stopping the restructuring that GM so badly needs from the top on down.

Oversight of changes to the corporate culture that would lead to faulty designs being acceptable.
