Dont let Democrats rewrite history into Obama being some big pro gay advocate, he even opposed gay marriage.

It was Republicans that went to court to remove DADT, and won..

Do you actually believe this crap, or are you purposefully spreading lies?

What about the honour of the gay men and women who decided to lay down their lives for their country and their fellow Americans?

We need a volunteer with endless patience to explain the concept of "Chain of command".

Interesting, some Americans believe that the US military answers to it's flag officers and only it's flag officers with civilian politicians having no input. Certainly different from Commonwealth countries, what did my old Regimental Sergeant Major tell me, oh yes we may fight for democracy but the army is not one.

They also should be tested for AIDS regularly if they are sexually active. Don't flip out about it either liberals, it's a known fact that men who practice the gay lifestyle are at far higher risk for diseases, especially AIDS. It's just a medical fact and people with AIDS should not be in the military. It's not safe.
Gay men in the shower are usually like "I don't want to get beat up by homophobes so I want to shower as quickly as possible."

Bull. The military is under civilian control.

Are you deliberately conflating terms? Elections are democratic. Appointments are political.

That is such a different issue that it can't even be compared to this situation. You know that a woman, naked or clothed, in a shower with a bunch of horny straight guys is going to be highly sexually vulnerable no matter what. You think the one or two gay guys in the shower room are going to be sexually aggressive towards the hoards of heterosexual males in the shower? Those few gay guys are probably the most intimidated in the whole room most likely.

Edit: I misread your post. I read another post about showering and my mind skipped a little bit. But my comment also applies to bunk beds. That is even worse in fact. Women would be very vulnerable to the men. Gay guys aren't going to snuggle up with some homophobic straight man.

How is this a threat? If you don't want to work with someone who is gay then you should resign. Should we not allow gays in the military because some don't want to work with them. Sorry, not their call.
