Why not? I don't like red cars.

Back on topic. As a Mississippi resident, I don't fully support this measure. It doesn't go far enough. Any business owner should be able to choose who they want to do business with. 99.999% of them see green when a customer walks in so it really won't impact but a few. These few that openly discriminate can be boycotted like the Oklahoma restaurant - Oklahoma restaurant owner declares he won't serve 'freaks,' '*******,' or the unemployed in offensive TV interview - GA Daily News
Exactly! Things sort themselves out when We, the People get to make decisions without government interference.

"Render unto Ceasar what is Ceasar's, and to God what is God's."

Your business is Ceasar's.

Your church is God's.

The two are separate, and rightfully so.

Jesus Christ mingled with all sorts of people; liars, theives, etc.
According to your logic, that means He abandoned His faith while doing so.

What makes YOU better or more righteous than JESUS?

That being said, I should not be forced to do business with those that I am uncomfortable with.

True liberty does not allow government to trample on one persons rights in order to give rights to someone else.
So in your view, it would be back to the "Whites-only" lunch counter. After all you shouldn't be forced to make sandwiches for black people or gay people or whatever group you don't like....

Owning a business does not become a justification for refusing to have as customers people you happen not to like because they are member of some group. There is such a thing as civil rights.

I don't have a problem with these organizations... My only problem is with the oppression that caused these organizations to have to be created in the first place...

Yeah, that makes sense, whatever you think you just said.....and then allow that bigotted owner to discriminate against whomever they want! -- hey let's just throw away the last few decades of civil rights progress and go back to segregated water fountains. [Water fountains have a religion too....]

So, am I being "discriminated" against by not being able to buy bacon at a Halal store?
