You are friends with the 10 people who call themselves "neo-conservative Obama voters" in Portland?

I consider any one who votes for Obama to be a neo-conservative, because that is what Obama is.

Sigh! Do you know how to use Google? OK, I'll help you:

Nationwide, there are 145 Libertarians holding elected offices: 46 partisan offices, and 99 nonpartisan offices.

Ron Paul is a lifetime member of the Libertarian Party.

Obama is a social conservative and a fiscal liberal. He is the polar opposite of a Libertarian.

How is he a social conservative? Gay marriage? Drug policies? Gun rights? Immigration? Christian values? Pro-life? How?

Basically a bunch of random local elections that many probably ran unopposed, that is what I figured for a party with such a tiny support base.

Well I disagree with that opinion, voting for Obama doesn't make someone a neo-conservative.

Gay marriage legalization is not Libertarian, Libertarians seem to think Government shouldnt be involved in marriage at all.

How is he a fiscal Liberal ?

Also, personal beliefs are not the same as policy. I personally have a problem with abortion, but you would never describe me as "pro life"
