I think my G30 may have made a difference. Always good to have an option and assess the situation accordingly.

“He got his,” said one witness to the beating who declined to give her name. “He got beat up real bad.”

It's this kind of critical thinking that contributes to the problems within black communities. Instead of thinking "Should a 10 year-old be unsupervised on a busy street?", we get this. And on top of that, they took the guy's money and credit cards.

Yet all we will hear from Jackson, Sharpton, and the newest race-baiters, Holder and Obama..........is silence.

Some people just never quite make it off the bottom rung of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs.

During a adrenaline dump you lose about half of you motor skins(after a while you know to expect and how to handle it, and after enough adrenaline releases that you really get over it,)

The man should have been armed and should have do what needed to be done..

I see the usual suspects are making this story a racial issue

It's all about race with these guys.

Only thing that could have saved this guy was an assault rifle.
Your point? Should he have just submitted and been beaten? Or fired off a few shots, jumped in his car and left the area?

They are Street thugs, not Cops, and sure as hell not SEAL TEAM 6..

No it could have been a Glock with a few 17 round mags or a one are two 33 round mags...

Thank you, all valid points. Why was this kid allowed in the street to begin with? Where was his Father? ect?

The guy should have ran their asses over. That would have been much better than pulling out a pea shooter

Now if the guy had a shotgun or an assault rifle, then we are talking business.

Stop watching action movies, it distorts your peception

IMHO it MAY be about "race" here. If the driver was a Black dude; he might NOT have gotten beat so bad.

He hit an African American kid and was perceived by that community as being up to no good

Unlike what George Zimmerman did to Trayvon Martin, these fine people of Detroit didn't take his life. He should be thanking them for that they didn't kill him to "stand their ground".
