JFC, you can't even get that part right? That dog didn't menace anyone.
As far as the "don't shoot me" bit, he saw the cop reaching to his side, he didn't know what he was reaching for, and considering how many cops seem to like to shoot and ask questions later, I can't blame him for saying it.
He didn't have to let him in the house because he wasn't under arrest. The cop asked him for his ID, he said he had to go get it, the cop then acted like the guy refused to show ID. That's a load of horse spit, and anyone who thinks that's okay should just stop voting, for anything, ever again.
