Seems to me it would be smart to prepare for climate changes instead of claiming it doesn't happen.

What if we build a better world...for a hoax?

Well.

There doesn't seem to be a downside to cleaner air, purer water, and more energy efficiency.

It's one thing to ask ourselves if the climate could change and then prepare ourselves for it. It's quite another to insist we're changing it and try to use a bunch of "green" technologies that are mostly anything but, to try and cause drastic alterations. While we should definitely reduce pollution, we shouldn't do it for the wrong reason or in the wrong way. Maybe the right thing for the wrong reason isn't entirely accurate, but the latter is. The focus has been so heavily on CO2 emissions while largely ignoring other dangerous pollutants.

That's over a million square miles less than we had 30 years ago.

Just because the ice is continuing to melt, doesn't mean that the warming is increasing, it just means it has warmed to a point to allow the melting. Go to your kitchen and do this. Get some ice cubes, and set them out in your presumably temperature-controlled house. They will melt. Does that mean your house is continuing to increase in temperature?

tell you what, if the AGW alarmists can tell us which way the climate is going to turn, then we can prepare for it. in the end however there is no question that the climate changes, the issue is whether or not it is man caused or natural.

Uh, no. That's not an issue, either.

Here is a worldwide list of almost 200 scientific organizations, all of whom agree climate change is man made.

and i notice that the vast majority of those are government connected, perhaps maybe they agree because they want to keep their funding? and also note that the 97% of scientists that agree global warming is man made are 97% of IPCC scientists, again a bunch of government scientists in lock step. nice try but this is a failure.

NOT settled yet, as you can read.

the articles I browsed on this subject were fill with the twistings and turnings of those who want to say the the polar icecap is still shrinking, and who are unwilling to consider that things can change rather quickly.
