I cant view the clip where I am right now. I don't know about Chris Matthews, but I do remember the beginnings of it all. Hillary and her "people" did throw the birther stuff out there. I don't know that they actually believed it or if they were trying to get anything and everything against Obama to stick (so to speak). It was all over her supporters internet boards at the time, a Google search should prove that. Anywho, a little investigation proved them wrong and this should never have been picked up by anyone else.
