actually adoption doesn't affect indonesian citizenship for those older than 4 ( obama was 6 and lolo soetoro never adopted obama ).

* if having Indonesian citizenship will not give the person dual citizenship ( obama would not be able to renounce his US citizenship at that age nor could anyone else renounce it for him )
* employed or have fixed income
* pay the citizenship fee
