What are your skills. If you don't have the skills that an employer is willing to pay higher wages for you can do something about it. Government can not legislate your prosperity, that is up to you. And since you are complaining about cheap labor, why would you support a party that supports open borders. Do you know anything about supply and demand?
First to clarify i don't support any of the major parties. I have to disagree with the ideal of "its all about your skills that makes an employer pay you more" I agree part of it is that but a big part is this. Since aprox 1979 we have seen a huge increase of wages from the top 20% wage earners almost 30x more then what they earned in 79. But wages for middle class or lower have stagnantted or lowered for the same jobs since 79. The problem i have often with alot

Continued from my last post

@petch751

Of conservative thinking is everything is based on morality, often the poor are poor because they are lazy etc (which isn't true, any capitalist society to function there has to be a lower class) And the rich are rich because they are morally superior, which also isn't true alot of times. Your statement of skills is an example of this. Just like most jobs are the same now as before with little differents. There is no special skills it takes to be a CEO other then what it took 40+ years ago, business school. So why the 30x more increase in wages over everyone else?

I don't know if I would use the word "trust" specifically but I would put more stock in a body theoretically created and elected by it's people to serve the collective will of the people as opposed to conglomerates or corporations that exist to create profits for their shareholders only. I'm not an anti-business/anti-coporation guy by any stretch of the imagination but the composition of government versus business is such that one would hope more weight could be placed in the potential altruism of government.

Did you watch the video?

Assuming you did... are you calling the woman a liar, or are you saying you don't care if the government runs roughshod over citizens with whom you disagree on political issues?

The video in the OP is about government abuse and intimidation. Are you in favor of these things?
