I don't know about YOU, but I've never planned my FU's very well. They always just seem to happen, even when I'm being careful.

I know no child will EVER have unsupervised access to one of your guns... but what about your NEIGHBOR'S kids to HIS guns? And what if YOUR kid is playing at the neighbor's house at the time...

Maybe your NEIGHBOR oughta have one of those bracelets...

See where I'm going with this?

maybe the neighbor oughta have a gun safe so his kids can't get to the guns.

It is not a tracking bracelet - you'd know that if you read your link or weren't being deliberatey obtuse.

And the NSA isn't tracking our phone calls nor storing them for future use.

Yeah, I see where you're going. I raised 4 kids with guns in the house. Never had an issue. My youngest child now is 31. I'm not too worried about them.. Their kids are being raised much the same as their parents were. It all comes down to being a responsible gun owner. I don't need a bracelet.

They mentioned a finger print trigger lock system. If they got the technology right, that may work out well.

The real question is, what about the firearms that we already own, if this were ever to happen?

I'm guessing they would grandfather those in, and/or buy back the trigger mechanism.

There are thousands of guns stolen or lost each year, not sure if will work but if it can it's a good solution
