It must be pretty free because liberals never criticize it.

I think the answer really is to help the poor in these states relocate to the liberal states. There are choices.

It's better to let a few people die than condition them to think the government exists to help them. If this woman had free health care, free food, etc, she wouldn't have any incentive to work anymore.

It's not free or even "pretty free."

At that point she would have been in the Democrat voter base, everything would have been ok.

Nothing devours a states budget faster than Medicaid. Promises to cover 90% of the costs are laughable.

She kept her name and took her husband's name. It's not rocket science.

Comments like the above are the reason the conservative party is unable to attract young voters. Your words are ugly and demonstrate the Republican mindset.

(That was part of that "we have to pass it to see what's in it" part). When the Supreme Court correctly ruled that Obamacare could not mandate states expand Medicaid no one bothered to go back and fix that little glitch, or heck, maybe they hadn't got around to reading it yet. Bottom line, probably the people who most needed the help slipped through the cracks in about half the states. This was one of the most poorly conceived, poorly written, poorly understood, poorly implemented laws in my lifetime and the magnitude of it's impact makes it far worse.
What was poorly implemented were the states who REFUSED the Medicaid expansions - knowing full well that they were hurting their poor.
