Because IRS investigations were a good tool to hinder the campaign efforts of the other side.
I guess once it became knowledge among them that many jumped on that bandwagon to "help their party" keep power.

This is what our government has turned into folks, like it or not.
Done by both sides. Denied by both sides. And any investigations stalemated.

Remember Harry Reid saying that he had a secret informant, we still don't know who Reid's secret informant was?? Remember Harry Reid saying the tea party was going away. Silencing conservative groups to get Obama re-elected. I remember the first debate. Obama took it very lightly and was killed, why because he knew he won.

Demonize the tea party and conservative groups and silence them so they could not defend themselves and talk about conservative principles.

Remember what True the Vote is about...

True the Vote is a conservative vote-monitoring organization whose stated objective is stopping voter fraud. It trains volunteers to be election monitors and to spot and bring attention to suspicious voter registrations that its volunteers believe delegitimize voter eligibility.

So why would Elijah Cummings have an issue with a group that wanted to make sure their was no voter fraud?

Well it is now up to Eric Holder. Do we really believe Lerner will pay any price. We even still pay her. Just like Cummings is still being paid.
