Good defense.

I agree with that, however, I don't get why we use questions like in making the determination. For the vast majority of people on this planet nothing changes if they know/don't know the answer. How does it impact your life if the sun revolves around the earth vs. the earth revolving around the sun? How does it impact your life if evolution is proven to be wrong tomorrow? People don't care about things that don't impact their lives. It makes no sense to use them to measure whether or not we consider them educated.

The sun rises in the east tomorrow whether I believe it revolves around the earth or the earth revolves around the sun and nothing changes either way. If we discover tomorrow that evolution can't explain the large leaps between species, nothing changes I apologize for not remembering the name of the theory but one theory says that there is a minimum complexity required for systems to work that evolution cannot explain. In other words there are whole systems that would have had to develop at the same time in order for them to work that could not have evolved one piece at a time. Evolution depends on small changes and cannot explain big leaps. However, if this theory is accepted as the correct view tomorrow, what changes from today? Does your world fall apart? Do you bills stop coming? Does your job cease to exist?

And? Did you not do well in math in school? Here's a tip: 38% is LOWER than 51%. Go ask your teacher when the bell rings for recess, I'm sure they'll help you if you still don't comprehend.

I never said one was better than the other, simply stating by this poorly written article that both would be considered bad....though, ironically the 51% and 38% are both inaccurate.

When you hear what liberals think, it is easier to understand why they are liberals.
That is your first mistake. Liberals to not "think," they "feel." A "thinking liberal" is an oxymoron. If they had half a brain, they certainly would not be liberal.

Your reading comprehension must be stunted, that ISN'T what the poll says.

We already do, we just accept that it is just that a theory which has yet to be prove into a law.......A theory is just that a theory until it is proven...

51% of Democrats do not know that the Earth goes around the Sun, once a year!

And about 99 percent of Tea Baggers believe this... Quite funny if you ask me...
