The US-Israel relationship is very close and quite expensive. Does the US gain anything from it? Does Israel?

we both gain from it, or would you rather not have any say on a country that has nukes ready to go at a moments notice, especially in a volatile region such as the middle east.

Since Israel is the recipient of billions of dollars taken from working americans and actually has more representation in our congress than the same workers, I'd say Israel wins.

And 75% of the money sent to Israel comes back to the US to make military related purchases. So is the $750k left over really that much of a win?

Well, isn't it still more of a win for Israel than for the U.S.?

Egypt is also a large expense based on the same treaty. What has the US gained from them?

Who benefits most from our relationship with Pakistan? Egypt? Jordan? Ukraine? We pay some of them just not to blow us up, but does anyone start a thread whining about that?

You know if we put that money towards unemployment, or medicare 100% of the money would come back to the US and it would actually benefit US citizens rather then US arms dealers.
