The LAUSD is run by liberals.

They suspended the teacher and they built the school where it was located.

Those are the facts.

It isn't Harrier's problem if you can't handle them.

Once again you have no clue as to why the teacher was put on leave. It's because of moron parents that let kids have guns and then the kids use the guns to shoot up the schools.
You mean like the one at the Science Fair Obama attended? That one shot marshmallows huge distances.

Imparting velocity to projectiles is physics. Imparting sufficient velocity to certain projectiles is gunnery. They are different things.

This statement appears to make you and expert. Pretty please, with sugar, please explain liberalism to me. I prehistoric times when I went to the local cave for classes, liberalism didn't exist so I missed that part of my education.

LA, 'nuff said. Sometimes I wish that whole state would go its own way with all the nutty things being done by the 'leadership' there.

Gotta love the childlike retorts in defense of the subject, lol.

And Harrier has personal knowledge of the political views of those bureaucrats involved in this suspension?

We are all ears. Let us have the names and the political affiliations you know all about...

In the interim I will continue to ascribe absurd conservative decisions to those who are absurdly conservative. I know this is an idea that will require much thought...but you can do it Harrier if you concentrate...absurd conservative ideas come from absurd conservatives...

L.A. high school cost $230 million to build - US news - Education | NBC News

"Construction was stymied several times over the past 15 years by revelations that officials had approved building the school atop explosive pockets of methane gas and the discovery of an active earthquake fault beneath the site."

Los Angeles unveils new $578 million public school, the most expensive in the country | syracuse.com

" a K-12 complex built on 23 acres of land, cost $578 million to build. Considering the school will house about 4,200 students, construction cost about $130,000 per pupil.

So, what exactly is included in that hefty price tag? An auditorium modeled after the famous Coconut Grove nightclub, a state-of-the-art swimming pool, and a marble memorial for Robert Kennedy, just to name a few of the school's upscale features."

Oh btw that school was only 40% per student cost then the other high schools in California. Building a high school just for a few hundred students typically costs about 70 million dollars.
Which commercial building costs $2B?

You don't know much about school construction. Yes things cost more in California, but $150M should build a nice high school for 2000 students or more. That one in LA is two-three times the cost of what it should be.

You clearly know nothing about the LAUSD - it is liberal from top to bottom.

Get back to Harrier when you actually know what you are talking about.

What about parents allowing kids to use guns to go hunting wild game? You alright with that?

We made dry ice bombs in science class when I was in school. Can you imagine the horror if current students were exposed to such a simple way to cause an explosion?

This liberal zero-tolerance nonsense is really getting out of hand if students can't even be taught scientific principles without some hand-wringing "protector" getting their panties in a wad.

The protesting students have more maturity than the school administrators.

I bet the school board in LA formally worked for Oakland. Remember "EBONICS"?
