I am talking levels above about changes that will take place because of illegal actions taken by a tyrannical dictatorship. If you don't see it by now you are a lost cause and fighting the wrong battle.
No you werent. You were responding directly to our string of comments and you said i was wrong and instead of providing proof, you posted 2 links that had nothing to do with what I posted.
And even if you want to play this game and say you were thinking bigger, it doesnt matter because the Constitution still says you vote them out. Insurrection is still illegal, bringing us full circle to you still being wrong.
We The People have nothing to do with this. The rancher claims he paid the fees, but to the County and not the Federal government.
No, he doesn't claim he paid the fees - he hasn't paid any fees since 1993.
Quote:
He isnt disputing if he has to pay fees, he isnt disputing that he doesnt own the land.
He is simply disputing who does own the land, Clark County vs US Gov.
He is arguing that it should be Clark COunty so he doesnt have to pay another set of fees.
The ownership is clear. The US Government owns the land - and has since 1848. In addition, the US Government owned the grazing rights to the land until 1997. In 1997, Clark County did in fact buy the grazing rights. It did so for the purpose of retiring them so that nobody would be allowed to graze on the land. At the time Clark County tried to get Bundy off the land - even offering to money to offset what he'd spend improving the land (including illegal improvements he made such as diverting and storing water)
Both parties with interest in this land - Clark County and the US Government - want Bundy and his cattle off it, and have for decades. The man is nothing but a trespassing thief.
Yeah well ownership isn't based on wishes and rainbows. It's BLM land and he hasn't paid the BLM. The guy is a jackass plain and simple. And he hasn't paid anybody as far as we know. And somehow conservatives are acting like he has the RIGHT to graze wherever he pleases. This is absurd. Are we in a parallel stupid world?
He offered to pay the state with who the contract was signed with, why would this not be agreeable with the federal government? He still says he would pay all taxes due to the state not the federal government.
Please teach your kids that trespassing is illegal.
I don't care if you think you have a right to trespass. If I catch you grazing cattle on my land I'll shoot you and the cattle.
OK big boy you shoot and kill. What does that have to do with my daughters feeding the stock and trespassing and grazing on public land.My many years outfitting I always had my stock on public land and never had a fed trying to bust me when they ate gov grass. matter of fact tomorrow I'M gonna go eat some gov grass myself and see if you turn me in to your master
Can you find a specific law in the U.S. Code that forbids insurrection?
No where in the constitution is insurrection either prohibited or a penalty for it prescribed.
That doesn't mean that a law cannot be made to such an effect, but the constitution does not say what you think that it does.
Article 3 of the Constitution disagrees with you.
Quote:
Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.
The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.
No, he doesn't claim he paid the fees - he hasn't paid any fees since 1993.
As i said earlier, He claims he has been paying fees to Clark County. No one has disputed that.

Again, im not claiming the man is right, im simply stating what he said.
He offered to pay the state with who the contract was signed with, why would this not be agreeable with the federal government? He still says he would pay all taxes due to the state not the federal government.
What are you talking about?
His progenitors had grazing contracts with the Federal Government from 1934-1973. He had grazing contracts with the Federal Government from 1973-1993. In 1993, he didn't like the new contract the Federal Government was offering, so he refused it. But instead of leaving the land like he should have and like any business owner does when he can't renegotiation a lease with his landlord, he stayed and used the land without paying for it.
It is true that the Federal Government sold the grazing rights to this land to Clark County in 1997. However, Clark County never signed any grazing contract with Bundy. Clark County retired the grazing rights - the County doesn't want this land grazed. Clark Courty tried to get Bundy off the land too - even offering him money to vacate. Bundy again refused to leave.
No mention of insurrection is made within that clause.
